GoColorado is currently in pre-launch development. This policy describes the information we currently collect and the information we expect to collect when customer booking and payment features become publicly available.
1. Who we are

GoColorado is a Colorado guide and experience marketplace operated by Clements Holdings, LLC. GoColorado helps customers discover guide businesses, outfitters, tours, instructors, and other Colorado experience providers.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use GoColorado, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, password credentials, account role, and authentication information.
  • Guide-business information: business name, contact details, service areas, listings, photographs, descriptions, pricing, availability, qualifications, and related business information.
  • Booking information: requested dates, selected services, customer and guide communications, booking status, and related transaction records.
  • Payment information: payment status, transaction identifiers, amounts, refunds, fees, and payout information. Payment-card details are processed by Stripe and are not intended to be stored directly by GoColorado.
  • Communications: messages, inquiries, support requests, reviews, guide responses, and other information you send to us.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location, referring pages, and website activity collected through server logs, cookies, or similar technologies.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • Create and manage customer and guide accounts.
  • Publish and administer guide-business listings.
  • Process inquiries, bookings, payments, and payouts.
  • Provide customer service and respond to requests.
  • Send booking, payment, account, and security notices.
  • Moderate listings, reviews, photographs, and messages.

  • Maintain, analyze, secure, and improve GoColorado.

  • Between customers and guide businesses: information needed to evaluate, arrange, confirm, and complete a booking may be shared with the other party.
  • With service providers: vendors may process data for hosting, email, security, analytics, customer support, and other services provided on our behalf.
  • With Stripe: Stripe processes customer payments, connected-account onboarding, transfers, refunds, disputes, and guide payouts.
  • For legal and safety purposes: information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, protect users, investigate fraud, or protect the rights and safety of GoColorado and others.
  • Business transactions: information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business.

GoColorado does not presently sell personal information for monetary compensation.


5. Stripe payments

Payments and connected guide accounts are handled through Stripe and Stripe Connect. Stripe may collect identity, banking, tax, payment-card, transaction, and device information under its own agreements and privacy policy.

GoColorado may receive limited payment and account-status information from Stripe, such as payment identifiers, payout status, refund status, connected-account status, transaction amounts, and limited payment-method details.


6. Cookies and similar technologies

GoColorado may use cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, secure the website, understand website performance, and improve services.

Browser controls may allow you to block or delete cookies. Disabling essential cookies may prevent some account or website features from functioning correctly.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide GoColorado, administer accounts and bookings, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.

GoColorado is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through the website.

GoColorado may contain links to guide-business websites, social-media pages, Stripe, and other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy as GoColorado develops or as legal and operational requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page will identify the latest published version.
